You are eligible to register as a Tenant under Sunway Property+ if you are residing in any of a residential property sold by Sunway Property in Malaysia, including joint venture developments.

Our Sunway Property+ Membership team will reach out to guide you through.

You start accumulating Rent+ Savings from the month when your Membership is activated. Rent+ Savings will be awarded on the last day of every calendar month throughout the tenancy period.

For example, your tenancy commences from 1 Oct 2023 and ends on 30 Sept 2024. Your Tenant membership is activated on 15 Dec 2023. You will receive your first Rent+ Savings on 31 Dec 2023.

Under the Rent+ Programme, you can enjoy the following benefits:

  1. Conversion of Rent to Rent+ Savings: You can convert 25% of the rental you pay into Rent+ Savings.
  2. Usage of Rent+ Savings: Accumulated Rent+ Savings can be used as part of the progressive payment for your first property purchase. You can use it for up to 1.5% of the nett selling price for participating Sunway Property development projects in Malaysia. Please note that this benefit is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective participating projects.
  3. Membership Upgrade: Upon your first successful property purchase, your Membership will be automatically upgraded from "Tenant" to "Homebuyer."

NOTE: Keep in mind that each member is eligible for a maximum of one unit only, and any Rent+ Savings exceeding 1.5% of the net selling price of the property will be forfeited.

You can accumulate your Rent+ Savings as follows:

  • The minimum accumulation period to convert Rent+ Savings is 1 year.
  • The maximum accumulation period is 2 years.

Your Rent+ Savings will expire 3 years after you exit the tenancy of the last rented property.

No, you cannot combine your Rent+ Savings with another Tenant's, as each member's Rent+ Savings is separate and personal.

Yes, you can continue to earn and combine your Rent+ Savings from both tenancies as long as you are renting a Sunway Property for a minimum of 1 year at each premise.

A minimum of 1-year tenancy is required for Rent+ Savings conversion. If you moved out before completing 1 year, you would not be able to convert your Rent+ Savings. However, you can continue earning Rent+ Savings by renting another unit from Sunway Property developments with a minimum 1-year tenancy.

You can convert the rent amount for 1 year of stay into Rent+ Savings.

As Sunway Belfield is under construction, you can continue earning Rent+ Savings as you pay your rent. The accumulated credits can be redeemed and offset as a rebate against the outstanding payment due to Sunway Property upon vacant possession of the property purchased.

Rent+ Savings can be redeemed for future property purchases if you've accumulated it for at least 1 year.

Unfortunately, it can't be used for retrospective property purchases.

No, the Rent+ Savings cannot be transferred to others. However, it can be used for property purchases under joint names, provided the tenant is one of the SPA signatories.

Yes, you may apply for the Rent+ Savings Programme as long as the Rent+ T&Cs are met.

However, during the conversion of Rent+ Savings for your Sunway property purchase, you will only be eligible to utilize one of the Property Purchase Rebate Privilege under Homebuyer or Sub sale Buyer or Tenant.
